Announcement on Blog's Purpose

Finally, this baby is ready to take on the world. My old free wordpress blog had gotten slower, and I hooked it up to a CDN to make it more bearable. Before, it used to take from 20-60s to load a page - now, with the caching, it takes about 6-9s. A substantial improvement.

Since then, however, I've learnt quite a bit of stuff, which goes into this new site, and thus it is way faster now (often the entire site loading in less than a second). You can now share it with everyone you know or meet, since I can finally take the traffic, and they'll see a site that loads fast even in spike hours.

Also, this is actually the first post on this blog. I'll just be adjusting the publishing dates manually on the posts to have them conform to their original publishing date, so don't let it fool you. The flow of time is just an illusion when you can edit your clocks.
